My Story

For more than 25 years, I have worked in healthcare as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, helping others navigate challenges with their breath.

When I discovered yoga, I began to recognize how little attention I had given to my own. That quiet awareness changed everything, inviting me into a more embodied and conscious way of living.

What began as a personal practice slowly reshaped the way I understood health and healing. I saw how breath, movement, and awareness are not separate from our emotional lives, but deeply intertwined with them. This realization inspired me to pursue further training and to share these practices with others in a rounded, compassionate way.

The practices I share are rooted in the way I choose to live my own life. I believe we can’t pour from an empty cup, and I return often to the simple things that help me feel grounded, connected, and fully alive.

You’ll often find me paddleboarding on a quiet lake, wandering forest trails, tending to my garden, sharing time with family and friends, or enjoying a slow morning with a cup of tea. Nature is where I feel most at home. It reminds me to pause, breathe deeply, and appreciate life’s quieter moments.

I’m also a lifelong learner with a curious heart, continually exploring ways to create spaces where women can gather, reconnect, and return to what is sacred within. These experiences shape how I hold space for others—with compassion, curiosity, and reverence for each woman’s unique journey.

‘From the moment I walked in, the space felt so welcoming and comfortable — I honestly could have stayed there all day. One of the most meaningful parts was hearing everyone share their intentions and connecting on a deeper level than we usually allow ourselves to. I left feeling closer to the other women and more open within myself.’
Sarah – Women’s Circle

‘The space was absolutely beautiful — so relaxing and comfortable from the moment I walked in. Theresa created such a calm, welcoming atmosphere, and her voice and presence felt grounded, intentional, and deeply supportive. I left feeling relaxed, empowered, and genuinely happy to have shared the weekend with such incredible women.”
Jenn – Weekend retreat

Yoga with Theresa is by far the calmest, most zen part of my week. Her space embodies self-care and relaxation. Theresa’s passion for yoga is evident and she takes the time to craft each class to meet the needs of our group. Thank you so much for teaching guiding and sharing your passion & knowledge with us Theresa
