My Story
For more than 25 years, I have worked in healthcare as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, helping others navigate challenges with their breath.
When I discovered yoga, I began to recognize how little attention I had given to my own. That quiet awareness changed everything, inviting me into a more embodied and conscious way of living.
What began as a personal practice slowly reshaped the way I understood health and healing. I saw how breath, movement, and awareness are not separate from our emotional lives, but deeply intertwined with them. This realization inspired me to pursue further training and to share these practices with others in a rounded, compassionate way.
My Approach
In Somatic yoga, the onus shifts from achieving a pose to sensing from within. The practice invites attention to the body’s internal experience – the subtle signals, rhythms, and patterns that often go unnoticed.
Because healing is deeply personal, I offer a space that feels safe, supportive, and unhurried — where you can reconnect with yourself at your own pace.
Each session is designed to meet you where you are, whether you are seeking relief from stress, navigating change, or simply longing for deeper rest.
My intention is to share practices that nurture resilience, restore balance, and support a lasting sense of harmony in daily life. Above all, this work is about coming home to yourself.
The Things That Fill My Cup
The practices I share are rooted in the way I choose to live my own life. I believe we can’t pour from an empty cup, and I return often to the simple things that help me feel grounded, connected, and fully alive.
You’ll often find me paddleboarding on a quiet lake, wandering forest trails, tending to my garden, sharing time with family and friends, or enjoying a slow morning with a cup of tea. Nature is where I feel most at home. It reminds me to pause, breathe deeply, and appreciate life’s quieter moments.
I’m also a lifelong learner with a curious heart, continually exploring ways to create spaces where women can gather, reconnect, and return to what is sacred within. These experiences shape how I hold space for others—with compassion, curiosity, and reverence for each woman’s unique journey.
Why PranaSoma?
The name PranaSoma brings together two Sanskrit words that beautifully reflect the heart of my work.
Prana is the life force—the breath and vital energy that flows through us. It’s the energy that nourishes, sustains, and connects us to ourselves and to life.
Soma has many beautiful meanings. Traditionally, it refers to the nectar of life, while in modern somatic practice it also speaks to the lived experience of the body—the body’s innate wisdom, its capacity to heal, and the deep intelligence that emerges when we slow down and listen.
Together, PranaSoma is a invitation to reconnect with the breath, listen to the body, and remember the wisdom that lives within.
It reflects my belief that healing isn’t something we force or fix. It unfolds when we create the conditions for our nervous system to settle, our bodies to feel safe, and our authentic selves to emerge.
If this resonates with you, I invite you to take the next step.

Testimonials
‘From the moment I walked in, the space felt so welcoming and comfortable — I honestly could have stayed there all day. One of the most meaningful parts was hearing everyone share their intentions and connecting on a deeper level than we usually allow ourselves to. I left feeling closer to the other women and more open within myself.’
